This 1919 era 8 sided gas station was lovingly restored in 2008 by Rod Davenport a local antiques business owner. After his death the family donated it to the El Paso County Historical Society. In the interim vandals broke windows and spray painted graffiti on it. this photo was taken prior to that act of vandalism. When I visited a neighbor came out to question me and to see what I was up to, apparently they missed the vandals later on.
